On Amazon’s front page, there are new changes to the search page!

A little below the search bar on the right, there is an option "Sort by:" Here, add Best Sellers!

After clicking Best Seller, the BSR ranking will be displayed from top to bottom.  

For example, if you enter Powerbank (mobile power bank, power bank) in the search box and select Best Sellers, brands like Anker will undoubtedly appear, which is more friendly to big sellers.

If buyers become familiar with this function, they will develop the habit of clicking on the best sales volume to buy, just like domestic buyers, and the subsequent new product promotion channels may rely more on advertising.

Buyers will also get used to screening Bset Sellers, and subconsciously purchase the top products directly. New products can only show off their CPC similar to the domestic through train to the homepage, which undoubtedly increases costs a lot.

As good news for the majority of sellers, Amazon's Small and Light Program was reported to be closed earlier, which also had a significant impact on the profits of low-priced goods .

Especially after the implementation of the new delivery fee, clothing sellers found that the increase in delivery fees for small sizes was not large compared to the small increase, but the delivery fee for large standard-size products increased by about US$1 per piece!

The rising delivery fees and falling profit margins are like a bolt from the blue for those sellers who originally thought they could capture the market with the help of the small and light plan.

Forcing sellers to lower product prices as much as possible and take back the low-price market may be Amazon's response to the offensive of Temu and other low-price platforms.

Moreover, Amazon can also charge sellers more delivery fees. This strategy of killing two birds with one stone is a good move for Amazon, but for most sellers with low average order values, profits will be further reduced.
