Amazon updates the solution for blocked credit and debit card accounts

Case 1: If your sales have been suspended due to updating your credit card or debit card.

1. Submit the required qualification documents for company accounts

1 document providing ID

The document must meet the following requirements:

Submit a color scanned copy of the front and back of your government-issued ID card, as well as a photo of you holding your ID card, and combine the three images into one file. Do not submit screenshots. Requirements for the photo of you holding your ID card:

o Hold your ID card in front of your chest with both hands, with the front of the ID card facing forward. The information and photo on the front of the ID card must be clear and readable.

o My entire face and facial features are clearly visible, please face the camera when taking the photo

o Please use a high-pixel mobile phone or digital camera to take photos in a well-lit environment. To ensure image quality, it is recommended that family members or friends help take photos.

·The photocopy should be legible.

Your ID document must be in one of the following languages: Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese or Spanish. If it is not in one of these languages, please provide your passport or a notarized translation of your ID document into one of these languages.

The name on your resident ID card should exactly match the name on your registered Amazon account.

·Resident ID card should not be expired.

1 Provide business registration information (business license)

The document must meet the following requirements:  

·The photocopy should be legible.

Should not be expired and have a validity period of at least 45 days at the time of submission.

The name of the legal representative on the business license should match the name on the government-issued resident ID card.

The address on your business license should exactly match the address on your registered Amazon account. If you need to change the address on your Amazon account, please follow the instructions here before submitting this application.

Note: You may also be asked to provide an additional VAT invoice for the purchase of products. There is no need to elaborate on the requirements for the invoice. The company name must match, the address must match, and it must be authentic and verifiable, etc.


2. Information required for personal account submission

Credit card statement documentation must meet the following requirements:

You can hide the currency amount, but the rest of the document must be visible.

The name on your credit card statement should match the name on your government-issued ID card.

Credit card statements must have been issued within the past 90 days.
