develop

UPS Express originated from a courier company founded in Seattle, USA in 1907, which started out delivering letters and packages for retail stores. With the business principle of "best service, lowest price", it gradually expanded throughout the west coast of the United States.

In 1922, UPS purchased a company in Los Angeles and pioneered what became known as a "common carrier" service. In the 1950s, in 1924, UPS debuted another technological innovation that would shape its future: the first conveyor belt system for handling packages.

On January 10, 2001, UPS acquired Fritz Group's California Logistics Company by issuing new shares worth $433 million, and incorporated the company into UPS's expanding logistics business, making it a larger transportation group.

In May 2001, UPS announced its cooperation with Alibaba, a well-known Chinese e-commerce company, and officially formed a strategic alliance with Alibaba's online wholesale e-commerce platform "AliExpress". UPS will serve as the preferred logistics supplier for the "AliExpress" platform.

In 2008, UPS became the logistics and express sponsor of the Beijing Olympic Games.

In March 2012, UPS acquired European express giant TNT, becoming the world's largest express company in terms of revenue.
