In this notice, the service provider reminded the sellers: Amazon system upgrades will be implemented strictly from today. The date of planned warehouse entry filled in by the sellers in the backend must be consistent with the date of the warehouse entry appointment made by the logistics company. If the date is incorrect, the appointment will not be made, resulting in the inability to make an appointment for delivery to the warehouse, affecting delivery. The notice also emphasized: If the appointment date range is incorrect, you will not be able to get a new appointment! It will cause the shipment to be invalid!

Many sellers received performance warnings due to inaccurate delivery time

Some sellers have found that the recent shipment performance assessment is very strict. As long as the delivery time is exceeded, no matter whether it is delivered early or late, a red exclamation mark will be received - "Delivered outside the delivery period."

Some of these overdue shipments will also receive performance warnings. Amazon points out that they have "missed the delivery window" . Failure to deliver within the provided delivery window will affect its efficient receiving capabilities and may cause delays in the warehousing and sales of goods . Many sellers are worried that once the accumulated performance exceeds the standard, the delivery function will be deactivated.

In fact, this situation is not sudden, because last month a seller said that he received a call from the Amazon platform, asking the seller to explain the reasons for the overdue shipment and the subsequent improvement plan; and the seller was also warned on the phone that if such violations occur again, the seller’s store will face performance and shipping restrictions .

A freight forwarder in Shenzhen revealed: "Before, customers may have randomly filled in the estimated warehouse entry time, but now they are much more conservative. They will ask for the approximate delivery time, and then fill in the corresponding delivery time in the background within a week. For example, if I tell him that the delivery time is expected to be April 12, he will write 'expected delivery time between 4.12 and 4.19'."

Many sellers are not clear about the criteria for generating this performance. However, some people speculate that Amazon’s delivery standard is below 23.57%, and generally a few shipments that exceed the delivery time will be picked out for reminder, and not all of them will be counted in the shipment performance.

Regarding the above situation, some industry insiders have expressed their views: the so-called "FBA New Policy" is actually a rogue freight forwarder hyping up the FBA policy that was introduced earlier, but the policy was not so strict a long time ago. In other words, the policy change is not a new regulation introduced by Amazon, but is used by some rogue freight forwarders to deliberately create a tense atmosphere in order to achieve their own interests.

The solution provided by Amazon is that if the estimated delivery time after the shipment is sent out is outside the filled-in delivery period, the seller can edit and modify the delivery period in the last step of "Send to Amazon" before the filled-in delivery period arrives to match the actual progress ; but after the delivery period starts, no modifications can be made.


Therefore, some sellers suggest that when the estimated delivery time is approaching, you can check the logistics progress and edit the delivery time if necessary. However, this is easy to overlook after the delivery is completed, so you should pay attention to it.

Why does this happen?


1. Entering the peak season, there are express delivery factors such as warehouse overflow , weather factors, and inspection.
2. The delivery time policy for parcels is a new policy, and some buyers have not yet understood the policy in a timely manner.
3. Some sellers do not know the rules and requirements for choosing the delivery time . When the goods arrive ahead of schedule, they do not know how to modify the backend delivery time.

For sellers, facing this situation, first of all, they should stay calm and not be confused by some unrealistic hype. Secondly, they should carefully understand Amazon's reservation policy and ensure that their operations comply with regulations . As long as they ensure that their operations are compliant, keep an eye on Amazon's new policies, and make corresponding adjustments in a timely manner, there will be no big problems.
