Unscrupulous companies withhold wages. Everyone who joins Amazon must beware of such villains.

Unscrupulous companies withhold wages. Everyone who joins Amazon must beware of such villains.

I joined a company in Baoan, Shenzhen right after graduation. During the interview, they told me that the company had 50 to 60 people (I later found out that there were only 10 people) and the company's market value was tens of millions or hundreds of millions. As soon as I sat down, they said, "We will offer you a salary of 4K and you can learn a lot." I'm not stupid, but because I graduated, I was a little anxious to find a job in Shenzhen. I didn't go to a company that offered 4.5K, but because this company said there would be commissions during the probation period, I was convinced.

The fact is, there are only two people working on Amazon, and they are sisters. The elder sister is pregnant with the boss's child, but I heard that they are not married. The boss has a child in his hometown, and he never admits their relationship in the company. The two sisters have extremely bad tempers. Both of them have 100,000+ stores. I was assigned a store with 6,000+ US dollars. Since I am a newcomer, it is understandable that I was given a new store. I also began to understand the background. The questions I asked were basically not answered. I asked customer service, read the official account, and asked friends. I have never seen the product, and I can't solve the customer service problems that arise. She didn't reply me when I asked her. The boss didn't understand operations and only knew how to brush orders. I could only learn about the products from the reviews and QA of competitors. It was really hard. It was really miserable for a newbie who had no one to teach me. Moreover, sitting in the same office, we didn't talk at all. The depressing atmosphere was really uncomfortable. The daily tasks were to write reviews, statistics, delivery, customer service. To be honest, no one taught me some basic operation methods. I even wanted to apply many things I learned from outside, but it was difficult to do without funds. Their job was to brush orders every day and check order numbers. They didn't do keyword research, and they didn't care about it after opening the advertisement. Really, they only knew how to brush orders. The rare thing is that they produce it themselves, so the cost is not high.

But my advertising business was successful. After a few months, my store also had over 100,000 sales. Of course, part of it was fake orders. There were also many natural orders on Prime Day. I thought my commission was very high, but it was only 500 yuan each time. The boss kept crying poor, and the salary had to be in a month's deposit. The commission was often not paid with the salary. People had to urge them before they would pay the commission. The commission is 1% of the net profit. In addition to deducting logistics costs, product costs, and fake order costs, we also have to deduct all our wages, office rent, water and electricity, etc. No matter how we deduct, there should be 15% profit, but no matter how you calculate it, the commission is more than 500 yuan, right? It's really a garbage company. It's really disgusting to think about it.

It is said that this company's store makes a lot of money, but the HR, art design, Alibaba, and Amazon colleagues are all squeezed into a 20-square-meter office, half of which is the boss's office, and the remaining half is the tea room. One-fourth of the space is occupied by ten colleagues. Later, they said they would move to the factory to work. I have seen stingy bosses, but I have never seen a boss who brags about it to others but is really stingy.

Now that I think about it, this company's routine is to specifically look for fresh graduates, saying that they are going to learn something, but in fact, they will not teach you the core operational skills. They just let you write reviews for fake orders, do work they don't want to do, such as sending emails, and checking orders. They say it's a commission, but they will definitely not pay you much. I have worked for two months, and I would want to cry if they gave me 7,000 yuan. The girl who joined the company later than me also resigned with me. She was only paid 6,000 yuan. An old employee of this company who worked for Alibaba said that this company replaces a batch of new employees every two months, saying that the working atmosphere is not good. But it's not just because of this, it's also because the company withholds wages too seriously, okay? That's the end of my first Amazon job.

Well, it has been a month since I resigned. Because the commission for last month should have been paid on October 30, but it was not paid, I was desperate. Fortunately, I found a new company. The new company made me realize that Amazon is not hiding things, restricting the development of employees, and treating employees as fools. When I said I was leaving the rubbish company, they directly told me not to come in the afternoon, which really made me feel that there was no humanity at all. The new company gave me better treatment, including five insurances and one housing fund, and my colleagues were also easy to communicate with. After leaving the rubbish company, I feel that I am a better person. I hope that everyone who comes to work at Amazon will not fall into the trap.
