It was founded in 2009 by two entrepreneurs, Oulas, and co-invested by Thibault Villet.

In just four years, Meilihui has quickly become China's leading membership-based online luxury retail website. Today, Meilihui has cooperated with more than 1,500 internationally renowned brands, has more than 3 million fashion customers, completes an average of 2,000-3,000 transactions per day, and has covered every city in China. The company's annual sales have exceeded 100% growth, and it is expected that the annual sales in 2014 will exceed 600 million yuan.

2009: Meilihui Japan was established

2010: Meilihui China was established, and Xu Jinglei became the brand spokesperson for Meilihui;

In March 2012, Neiman Marcus made a strategic investment in GLS Holdings.

In April 2014, Meilihui received a joint investment of US$65 million from Chow Tai Fook and Investec Bank.

In July 2015, Alibaba made a strategic investment of over US$100 million in Meilihui.

In December 2015, the Meilihui Tmall official flagship store was launched.

On March 30, 2016, Meilihui officially landed on Tmall, inviting CEOs of luxury brands and celebrities such as Chris Lee, Olivia Palermo, Yuan Yawei, and Sheng Yilun to hold a 330 fashion show;

On October 23, 2016, Meilihui participated in Tmall's "Double 11" Global Fashion Festival.

In 2017, a brand summit was held in Milan, with more than 20 brand executives and representatives and more than 30 mainstream media from Milan and Italy in attendance.


3. Business Model

5. Domain Name Upgrade

On September 3, 2014, Meilihui also announced the official launch of a new domain name, MEI.COM. The new domain name is shorter and easier to remember, which fully meets the memory and search habits of fashion consumers. "MEI and Mei are homophones, and we hope that consumers can start a charming and extraordinary fashion online shopping journey when they type MEI.COM."
