Rumor has it that US orders are being moved to the Italian site! Gearbest's sudden disappearance has planted a trust risk

It is learned that recently, the US official website of Gearbest, an independent website under Global Easy Shopping, suddenly went online again after disappearing for more than a month. However, according to foreign media Gizchina, when clicking on the Gearbest US website after it was relaunched, it jumped to its Italian official website, and the original orders from the US website were also transferred to the Italian website.

However, some media later pointed out that this was a complete rumor, and Gearbest did not release any official notification about this news. As for why Gizchina reported this, it may be that there was a bug in the website or it was an attempt to spread rumors. For a company operating in multiple markets around the world, it is impossible to move its business to a single country.

Currently, the Gearbest US site can be opened normally and will not jump to other pages.

It is worth noting that Gearbest had been complained by many buyers before it disappeared. This sudden disappearance caused losses to many buyers and suppliers, including pending orders and unpaid bills, and buried a hidden danger of "trust". Even if it is back online, many consumers are still afraid to place orders.

Gearbest wrote on its website after its return that customers' order history and services are still visible and messages can be sent, but some pages are inaccessible. According to AndroidMT, the website appears to have been hastily brought back online.

In addition, with the outbreak of the debt crisis of its parent company Global Easy Shopping, the company is facing the risk of bankruptcy at any time, and Gearbest seems to be facing a situation of disastrous defeat.

Foreign media reports also mostly stated that it is not recommended to place orders on Gearbest as long as the company's situation is not clear, and the reappearance of the website does not necessarily mean that the company is not bankrupt. Gearbest itself does not provide any information on the matter, and it is unknown whether Gearbest will really be able to serve customers again.
