Due to product quality issues! CPSC recalls 478,800 seats made in China!

It is learned that on February 9, CPSC announced the recall of 478,800 Harbour Freight Tools pneumatic roller seats. The reason for the recall is that the connection from the seat to the seat post may break, posing a fall hazard.

The pneumatic seat has a pneumatic lift range of 15-20 inches. The seat is red with a black storage tray underneath. The product registration number CA-44417 is located on a white label on the bottom of the storage tray. The item number is printed on a label on the front of the storage tray and the UPC is printed on a label on the bottom. The recall number is 22-075 and the following UPC numbers of the roller seats are included in the recall:

Harbor Freight Tools has received 96 reports of broken welds on the seats, including 10 reports of minor injuries. The recalled Harbor Freight Tools seats were sold nationwide and online at www.harborfreight.com from July 2014 to September 2021 for about $30. The product was made in China.

The CPSC advises consumers to immediately stop using the recalled seats and return them to the nearest Harbor Freight Tools store where they can receive a free replacement or a full refund in the form of a gift card.
