It is learned that on March 31, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a notice requesting the recall of a baby teether sold on Amazon and Walmart because the product did not comply with safety regulations. The teether, called the KidO Hudson Glow, is shaped like a puppy and makes a gentle rattling sound when shaken, but the toy's legs have parts that can easily fall off and pose a choking hazard to children. According to the notice, the safety commission has received reports of leg parts detaching from the product, but no injuries have been reported. About 8,900 of the toys are currently being recalled. It was also learned that a metal medicine box sold on Amazon was also required to be recalled recently, with the recall quantity reaching 7,700, covering the period from January 2021 to December 2021. The Helix Metal Lockable Medicine Box is white, measures approximately 8 inches wide by 13 inches long by 8 inches deep, and comes with two keys, a safety lanyard and an installation kit. The recall includes boxes with a locking arm on the left side. It is reported that the reason for the product recall is that the locking parts of the product may fail, and the medicine in the box may evaporate, causing the risk of poisoning.
