Thanksgiving will be the most popular holiday during this peak season, with 97% of consumers saying they will celebrate it. The survey also showed that 82% of American consumers intend to shop online, slightly higher than the proportion of shopping in physical stores (79%). For online shopping, 65% of consumers said they would choose home delivery services, while 44% would choose pickup services. When asked whether inflation would affect their peak season spending, 89% of consumers said it would, 59% said it would to some extent, and 11% said it would not be affected. It is worth noting that 73% of consumers also said the epidemic would have an impact on their celebrations.
