What is CE certification? CE certification evaluation
The CE mark is a safety mark rather than a quality mark. It is the "main requirement" that constitutes the core of the European directive. Legal status Mandatory English CE certification

Overview

CE certification is limited to basic safety requirements that products do not endanger the safety of humans, animals and goods, rather than general quality requirements. Coordination directives only stipulate the main requirements, and general directive requirements are standard tasks.

The "main requirements" that constitute the core of the European directives have a specific meaning in the European Community's Resolution on a new approach to technical coordination and standards (85/C136/01) of May 7, 1985. The "main requirements" that are needed for the purpose of formulating and implementing directives are that products that meet the main requirements of the relevant directives can be affixed with the CE mark, without having to determine whether the CE mark can be used according to the general quality provisions of the relevant standards.

Origin of the name CE

CE is also the abbreviation of the phrase "European Community" in many languages of the European Community. It was originally abbreviated as EC from the English phrase EUROPEAN COMMUNITY. The significance of CE marking

The CE mark is a safety certification mark that is regarded as a passport for manufacturers to open and enter the European market. CE stands for CONFORMITE EUROPEENNE.

The abbreviation CE is used as a symbol to indicate that the products with CE mark meet the essential requirements of the relevant European directives, and are used to prove that the product has passed the corresponding conformity assessment procedures and/or the manufacturer's declaration of conformity, which truly becomes a pass for the product to be allowed to enter the European Community market for sale. Industrial products that require the CE mark to be affixed to the relevant directives shall not be put on the market without the CE mark. Products that have been affixed with the CE mark and entered the market, if found not to meet the safety requirements, shall be ordered to be withdrawn from the market. Those who continue to violate the directive's provisions on the CE mark will be restricted or prohibited from entering the EU market or forced to withdraw from the market.

Consequences of not having CE certification

If Amazon finds that the product does not have CE certification, the seller will generally no longer be able to edit the product, and the seller’s product is more likely to be directly removed from the shelves.
