Walmart expands the functionality of Walmart Connect advertising platform to help sellers attract traffic during peak season!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, Walmart recently announced that it will expand some functions of the Walmart Connect advertising platform to help sellers increase product exposure and sales and gain more profits during the peak season.

The first is Search Brand Amplifier. With Search Brand Amplifier, your products will appear at the top of search results. Previously, this ad type was only available to selected sellers on Walmart. Soon (around October), it will be open to all Walmart brand sellers.

Secondly, Walmart has simplified the registration process for the Walmart Connect advertising platform. Previously, sellers needed to go through a three-day approval process, but now, sellers can complete the registration in a few minutes. In addition, the retailer has launched an automatic registration service for existing third-party sellers. Walmart's move will help sellers launch and manage advertising campaigns on the Walmart Connect advertising platform faster.

Walmart also released two resources in Seller Center to help third-party sellers optimize their sponsored advertising campaigns in preparation for the 2022 holiday season. One is the Market Insights Guide, which provides instructions on how to attract and connect with customers; the other is the Walmart Connect Holiday Search Guide, which provides third-party sellers with advertising campaign guidance for specific holidays.

Mike Greenberg, head of Walmart Connect, said, "We are pleased to continue to expand the functionality of the Walmart Connect platform to make it easier for sellers to connect with customers. The resources provided by Walmart will help sellers build better advertising campaigns and achieve success during the peak season."

Walmart is expanding its third-party seller marketplace, with the retail giant's latest move inviting sellers from Canada, the United Kingdom and India to join its U.S. online marketplace and providing them with the necessary sales tools, logistics and advertising services.
