The lead content exceeds the standard! The United States recalls another batch of toys made in China!

It is learned that on November 3, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of two children's toys sold on Amazon and warned consumers not to use or purchase them to avoid injury.

The first product, called "Tangame Busy Houses," is a toy house manufactured in China and sold on Amazon from May to July 2022 for about $200, with about 100 units sold in the United States.

The CPSC said the toy had two parts that contained excessive levels of lead, including the yellow painted zipper and the orange plastic telephone cord. In addition, the blue plastic bulb of the speaker contained excessive levels of phthalates. If young children accidentally ingest phthalates and lead, poisoning and other health hazards may occur.

The report said the recalled toy house is about 20 inches high, 12.5 inches wide, and 12.5 inches deep, with four black wheels on the bottom. The second toy, a Stashables brand finger slide ramp set, was also recalled for excessive lead content. The surface paint of the miniature skateboard and scooter toys in the set contained a large amount of lead.

The toy set contains 6 or 11 pieces with graffiti art, including toy skateboards, skateboards, pedals, scooters and bicycles. The recall only includes sets containing scooters and skateboards. The product batch number 18112021 is printed on the lower left corner of the set.

It is understood that the toy is also "Made in China" and was sold on Amazon.com and Walmart.com between April 2020 and May 2022, with a price range of between US$30 and US$40, and approximately 17,000 pieces were sold.
