More than 100 children have suffocated to death! These two baby rocking beds are urgently recalled!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently announced the recall of two baby rocking beds. The reason for the recall is that babies may flip over in the rocking beds if they are not tied with straps or under other circumstances, and fall into a situation where they cannot move, resulting in respiratory obstruction and death.

The first product involves the Rock 'n Play baby rocker from US toy company Fisher-Price, which the CPSC says has been linked to at least 100 deaths.

The CPSC first issued a recall for Rock 'n Play baby bouncers in April 2019. At the time, Fisher-Price had received more than 30 reports of deaths. Since April 2019, Fisher-Price has received approximately 70 additional reports of deaths.

It is learned that the product was sold on Amazon, Walmart and Target stores from September 2009 to April 2019, with prices ranging from US$40 to US$149, and approximately 4.79 million units were sold.

The CPSC advises consumers to immediately stop using the Rock 'n Play baby rocker and contact Fisher-Price for a full refund. The CPSC also warned sellers that it is illegal to sell or distribute the recalled product.

Another recalled baby rocker involves the Kids2 brand, which is "made in China." The CPSC said a total of 15 babies died while using the product. (The CPSC first issued a recall notice for Kids baby rockers in 2019. At that time, there had been five deaths reported.)

It is reported that the baby rocking crib was sold at Walmart, Target, Toys "R" Us stores, and other shopping websites from March 2012 to April 2019, with a price ranging from US$40 to US$80, and approximately 694,000 units were sold.

There are many things to note when it comes to baby sleep products or even baby products. If you are not careful, you will make mistakes. Here, we would like to remind all sellers that when exporting goods, they must do a good job of supervision to avoid product recalls.
