For the first time, Wayfair’s annual promotion “Way Day” will start for three days!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, recently the American home furnishing e-commerce Wayfair announced that it will hold its annual "Way Day" promotion from April 26 (Wednesday) to April 27 (Thursday). This year, the "Way Day" promotion will span three days for the first time.

The retailer first launched the "Way Day" promotion in April 2018 for one day. In April 2019, Wayfair extended it to 36 hours. In 2020, due to the impact of the epidemic, Wayfair postponed the "Way Day" promotion to September and extended it to two days.

It is reported that since the launch of "Way Day", this large-scale promotion day has become an annual shopping moment that nearly 30 million Wayfair users look forward to, even surpassing Black Friday to become the double crown of traffic and sales in the year. According to statistics, the average daily sales of Way Day in 2021 is three times that of normal days.

Wayfair is offering free shipping on all items during this year's event. The retailer will offer savings of up to 80% across all product categories and across all of its brands, including AllModern, Joss & Main, Birch Lane, Perigold and Wayfair Professional. The retailer will also host "Wayfair on Air" livestreams on its app and Instagram page, as well as select early deals.

“As spring arrives and temperatures begin to rise, we have great value for our customers as they begin to update their indoor and outdoor spaces, plan home improvement projects, and stock up on household essentials,” said Steve Oblak, Chief Business Officer at Wayfair. “We will continue to offer our customers the best prices of the year with fast and free shipping.”

Wayfair's annual loss hits $1.2 billion

Wayfair's net loss in 2022 was $1.3 billion, up from $131 million in 2021. The retailer's net revenue, delivery orders, and customer base all declined, while advertising expenses increased. The only positive performance indicator was that average order value increased year-over-year.

It is learned that Wayfair's own brands include Wayfair, Joss & Main, AllModern, Birch Lane, Perigold and Wayfair Professional. The company's net revenue for the full year 2022 was US$12.2 billion, with operations in North America and Europe.
