Global sales ban, daily fine of $1 million! "Little Huawei" Hytera is sanctioned by the United States

It is learned that on April 7, Shenzhen Hytera Communications Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hytera") issued an announcement on its official website: According to the decree of the US court, Hytera is not allowed to sell any products containing walkie-talkie technology anywhere in the world until further notice.


It is understood that Hytera's main business includes the research and development, production, sales and services of professional wireless communication equipment such as walkie-talkie terminals and cluster systems. It is known as the "Little Huawei".

According to the original documents released by the US court, the ban mainly includes the following three contents:


1. Sales and Distribution Ban: Until Hytera fully complies with the U.S. court 's anti-litigation injunction order (Documents 1504, 1508), Hytera and all of its officers, agents, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, dealers and resellers, and all persons who have actual cooperation or involvement with any of the foregoing, are temporarily prohibited from performing the following actions; offering for sale, importing, exporting or distributing any two-way radio products anywhere in the world.


2. Daily fine until Hytera complies with the court order: Hytera was ordered to pay a fine of US$1 million per day to the U.S. court until it fully complies with the U.S. court 's anti-litigation injunction order (Documents 1504, 1508).


3. Prohibition on reliance on any order or judgment in the Chinese litigation: Hytera was ordered not to execute or rely on any order or judgment issued by the Shenzhen court in the Chinese litigation until the contempt proceedings regarding the H-series products in the Chinese litigation are concluded. This order was issued on April 2, 2024. The judge is Martha M. Pacold.


It has been observed that all related products of Hytera have been removed from domestic shopping platforms.

According to an insider of Hytera, the company's legal team is actively negotiating with the US court and will not respond to this matter until there is further progress.
