Amazon sellers on these two sites will explode next year!

However, this policy does not apply to other sites around the world. So what is the trend of the other two main bases of sellers, Europe and Japan?

Let’s first take a look at what changes have taken place in the European site

The European site, like the US site mentioned last time, has cancelled the long-term storage fee for unsaleable inventory within six months to one year. However, unlike the US site, the long-term storage fee and monthly storage fee have been reduced by a considerable proportion!

First is the reduction in monthly storage fees (which will take effect on August 1 and only applies to large items)

It seems that only inventory that has been stored for more than one year will be exempted from the monthly storage fee (ps. Inventory that has been stored for more than one year must pay both long-term storage fees and reading storage fees). The amount of exemption is also quite considerable, almost equivalent to 30% off. I will summarize the two exemption policies below.

The second exemption policy is still for monthly storage fees, but it is for clothing and footwear categories, and this change will be implemented on April 1 (applicable to standard size products in this category)

This discount is quite useful. Clothing and footwear is an absolute red ocean market, and the number of sellers in this category is one of the highest in the entire Amazon. And the monthly storage fee is the public grain that everyone must pay every month as long as they use FBA. This time, Amazon has given a 40% discount, which can be said to be quite conscientious. It seems that clothing sellers on the European site will save a lot of money next year.

The last exemption on the European site is the long-term storage fee

In addition to waiving the long-term storage fees for unsaleable inventory between six months and one year, the long-term storage fees after one year have been greatly discounted. In order to attract customers to stay, the European station has always offered generous benefits, and this year is even more generous.

To summarize, we cut the long-term storage fees for six months to one year, and lowered the long-term storage fees after one year. Then we reduced the monthly storage fees for clothing, shoes and boots and large items that have been stored for more than one year.

Students who are using the European site should hurry up and find out which discount they can use. Next, I will talk about the Japanese site.

The first thing I want to talk about is the biggest benefit of the Japanese site after this update - monthly storage fee discount

We have seen that the monthly storage fee discounts from January to September next year are quite large, with a 30% to 40% reduction for both large and small items. Moreover, even in the peak season from October to December, large products can still enjoy a 15% reduction in monthly storage fees.

Note that this discount policy applies to all products. Unlike the discounts in Europe that are limited to clothing and shoes, such a universal and large discount makes me want to open a store on the Japanese site immediately.

Then everyone has a six-month to one-year long-term storage fee exemption, and the Japanese site is no exception. Everyone should pay attention that the new fees and the exemption of long-term storage fees will take effect in February next year, so when paying the January monthly/long-term storage fee in February, the old standards will still apply.
