Independent resellers will be banned from selling Apple products on Amazon

That’s right, January 4th has passed, and Amazon has officially begun cracking down on all unauthorized Apple sellers on the platform.

At present, a large number of sellers selling refurbished Apple products have had their products removed from their shelves, including some refurbished sellers who have been selling for a long time and have achieved large sales amounts.

Amazon has now removed most of the unauthorized Apple product sellers. Although a small number of refurbished Apple products are still available for sale, I believe these products are not far from being taken offline.

Now that the agreement between Amazon and Apple has been finalized, all unauthorized sellers have been cleared out. For the time being, there is no impact on third-party accessory manufacturers that have not passed Apple certification (MFI certification), but the future trend is not optimistic.

As you may all know, Apple’s share of the global mobile phone market has been gradually eroded by other brands, and Huawei’s strong rise in overseas markets has brought Apple down from the altar.

Recently, Apple has experienced a sharp drop in its stock price, and there have been many voices online criticizing Apple.

Everything points to one problem: Apple's profitability is not as good as before. Although the accessories market is an appendage of the mobile phone market, the profit margin is quite amazing, especially for Apple. People who have used Apple should remember how expensive the official accessories are. A mobile phone case is no less than 300 yuan, and a data cable costs 100 or 200 yuan.

If Apple is determined to take over the accessories market, it can completely remove all products without MFI certification from Amazon (or other e-commerce platforms). And the possibility of this action is becoming higher and higher as Apple lacks profit points.

So it is not time for the spare parts sellers who have escaped the disaster to celebrate their luck. What should we Amazon sellers do at the beginning of the new year? Launch new products. Parts sellers should also make preparations and leave some way out for themselves.
