After your Amazon store was shut down, your products were used by others to make money? ! ?

Last Friday, I discussed with you all the big pitfalls of Amazon as described by domestic media. The authenticity of many of the examples in the article was very questionable. I also picked out a few common sense errors and talked about them briefly. You can click here to review.

The first example listed in the original article is that Amazon took out the lost inventory of FBA and sold it on its own. Although whether the case is fabricated is still debatable, it is completely reasonable for Amazon to find the lost inventory that had been compensated and then sell it.

But if Amazon officially places an order to buy the seller's products and then sells them on its own , wouldn't that be much stranger than the above situation? Yes, we really encountered it.

One of our students reported that his UK store has been receiving strange orders recently, and the buyer of the orders turned out to be Amazon Italy...

Although this student abandoned his store on the German site after it was blocked, he unexpectedly discovered that the products were still visible on the front desk and were "Sold by Amazon", meaning they were sold by Amazon itself.

If a real buyer purchases this product from the German site, Amazon will purchase the same product from the student’s UK store and deliver it to the real buyer.

This action is actually very similar to the "pilot program" that was successfully tested in Europe before. The content of this program is that Amazon will select some products with good sales, put these products on Amazon's own shelves for sale in the site where the seller is not stationed, and purchase from this seller when an order is generated. Click here for a detailed introduction. The pilot program is now open to US sellers

▲Email inviting sellers to participate in the pilot program

Although the pilot program is definitely a benefit for sellers, they do not need to spend extra energy and financial resources to develop new markets, and the listing and after-sales service are all left to Amazon.

But in the case we are talking about today, Amazon closed the seller’s German store, and then used its own sales to sell the seller’s listings! Although this seller’s store was closed because of the tax number, he was one of the sellers who were mistakenly killed because of his complete tax number information.

Taking advantage of the fact that sellers were shut down due to tax issues, Amazon directly selected some of the better-performing listings for self-sales. This makes people wonder whether Amazon has ulterior motives in shutting down the stores and its subsequent handling methods.

Now, this student who was picked up by Amazon has successfully appealed to the store to get it back, but this listing, which has been transferred to Amazon's own operation, is still unsellable in his backend.

Has your German listing also been picked up by Amazon? Or have you had any other experience of being cheated by Amazon? You can tell your story in the comment section or in a private message to my avatar. There will be a big reward for your story to be selected and included in our next article! If your account was affected by the last VAT mistaken blocking incident, you can scan the QR code and private message me to try to appeal through the internal channel. It must be a mistaken blocking.

PS. If you want to join the seller discussion group, you can also private message me to let me add you to the group
