Amazon KYC stands for Know Your Customer, which is an audit check conducted by Amazon on account owners. In layman's terms, it is a review and filing of account holders' conditions (identity review of sellers on European platforms). According to the requirements of relevant European regulatory agencies, Amazon is required to conduct company and company owner identity reviews (KYC reviews) for sellers who open stores on European platforms (including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, etc.). Sellers can only sell on the European platform after being reviewed and approved by Amazon's European verification team. Usually, the five European countries' audits are bound to each other, so you only need to pass one site; otherwise, if one site fails, the other sites will also be closed. Purpose of KYC audit at different times Initial review: Directly triggered during account registration or when registration is completed and you enter the seller platform, KYC review may be triggered immediately Mid-term review: KYC is not a one-time review. Instead, the review cycle will be divided according to the risk level of the seller's account, ranging from once a year to once every two years. The purpose is to check whether the documents previously provided by the seller are expired or have errors. If the documents are not expired or have errors, the review will pass quickly; if the documents are expired, the seller will be required to upload the latest version. Trigger audit: Generally, it is triggered by modifying the background information or reaching a certain sales volume. There are mainly the following trigger forms Change credit card Change company address Modify the receiving account Modify background information such as ID card, contact information, etc. From registration to normal sales online, KYC review will be triggered before a certain sales threshold is reached KYC Final Review: This is an additional review after the first review. The purpose is to check all documents submitted by the seller, the association, the authenticity of the account, etc. Amazon KYC review usually takes 1-7 days. When there is a problem with the submitted documents, it may take an extra long time, ranging from 1-3 months. Of course, sellers can also trigger KYC review in advance when the documents are complete. The triggering reason can be to apply for estimated store sales or estimated FBA usage and time, etc. Information required for KYC review- Company business license, individual sellers do not need to provide
- In certain cases, you also need to go to the notary office to apply for a business license notarization + invoice
- If changes or cancellations occur, you must promptly check whether the company's operations are abnormal. You must resolve the company's abnormalities before triggering the KYC review, otherwise it will be difficult to pass the review later.
- If the business license is changed, all materials shall be based on the new version of the business license address, and the materials shall also be prepared according to the new version of the business license address. If the company's actual address is moved but the business license is not modified, the business license shall prevail.
2. Company's public bank statement Any bank can do it. You can ask the bank lobby manager to handle it.- Must have a clear bank logo or bank name
- The company name is required and must be the same as that on the business license

3. Company daily expense bill For sellers registered in Hong Kong and Taiwan (mainland companies do not need to provide one), Amazon requires sellers to provide a company daily expense account. Submit payment bills that can prove that the company is operating normally; Water and electricity bills, gas bills, internet bills, company bank statements, tax and social security payment bills, etc. The invoice material expense date and invoice date of the submitted bills must be within 90 days and must be issued by a formal institution; The company name and detailed address must be printed on the bill. The company name must be consistent with the name on the company registration certificate; The detailed address of the company in the bill should be consistent with the address entered in the background, and it should be the actual address of the company. For example, some Hong Kong companies have Hong Kong as their company name, but their actual operating address is in other cities. In this case, the address in the bill should be the actual operating address, which is the Hong Kong company. 4. Proof of legal person's address A personal bank comprehensive certificate is the easiest to obtain. 7. Articles of Association The business scope in the articles of association must be consistent with that in the business license - Amazon allows multiple submissions for review, but try not to submit repeatedly (especially submitting the same information repeatedly without any updates or supplements). You need to be more cautious when submitting information. If you fail the review once, your account will be greatly affected.
- All invoices must be issued within 90 days to ensure they are fresh;
- All invoices must be issued by formal institutions and must be printed with the company's name and detailed address;
- You can choose between the P card statement and the company's public bank statement;
- Because the KYC audit is quite strict, if the submitted billing address is inconsistent with the entered billing address, it may result in failure to pass the audit. Therefore, it is recommended that you make long-term plans and try to keep the billing address consistent with the entered billing address;
- The most important thing is to never submit any false information. If you are rejected, there is really no room for maneuver, even if you photoshop the front and back of your ID card into one picture. Amazon will never accept any information with even the slightest trace of photo editing. It is recommended to combine multiple pages of information or pictures into a PDF before submitting the information.
- The address on the personal address certificate only needs to be consistent with the personal residential address you filled in the backend;
- It is best to use the complete information of the legal person, the chance of passing will be higher
