The closure of the store was a mistake? Amazon confirmed

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, not only have our traffic and orders been severely affected, but even Amazon's association algorithm has been a bit strange. Not only have the cases of associations caused the store to be closed frequently, but many of the sellers have also been closed even though they are legally associated (the same set of information is registered on different major sites).

Although Amazon association will kill the account, generally speaking, Amazon strictly cracks down on multiple accounts operating on the same site. Therefore, sellers who want to open multiple stores on the North American site need to use different clean network environments and registration information to avoid association.

However, the same set of information can be used to register stores on different sites. Sellers can actually apply for global store opening in the background and use the same set of information to open other sites. However, in order to get the support of the investment manager, many sellers still choose to find the investment manager to open a store. Many of the sellers affected by the related store closure this time are sellers who do this.

Just recently, Amazon has begun to gradually unblock some of the blocked stores and sent apologies via email. It turns out that these stores were really killed by mistake!

Amazon admits to being involved in killing a store

Since last week, sellers who were sentenced to store closure have received unblocking emails from Amazon. Amazon said that "misjudgments occasionally occur in the process of cracking down on bad behavior" and apologized to the sellers.

Although Amazon has helped some sellers to get their accounts unblocked, it does not mean that all recent associations are misjudgments. What can be confirmed is that Amazon’s recent association algorithm has indeed had some issues. If you have carefully reviewed and determined that you have not made any suspicious operations, you can actively cooperate with customer service to get your accounts unblocked.

Although Amazon issued a new notice last month saying that it might allow multiple account operations in individual cases.

However, the new policy does not open up new "situations where you can apply for multiple accounts". It still includes the old three: "having multiple brands and conducting different businesses separately"; "making products for two or more different and independent companies"; and "applying for Amazon programs that require independent accounts."

Among the currently permitted multi-account operations, few ordinary sellers can meet the requirements, so most of us still need to operate with caution and strictly prevent association.

Measures to prevent association

Here I will briefly talk about some measures to prevent association and protect account security.

1. The software and hardware environment must be kept clean, including the computer, network cable IP, router, network card information, hard disk information, browser, etc.

Different network and hardware environments must not be connected in series for a single store.

2. The registered information must be clean, including business license, legal person and shareholders, address, phone number, email address, etc., each store must have one set of information.

3. The seller’s backend should be opened under a stable IP as much as possible, and ladder software should not be used when logging in.

If you are unfortunately linked to someone, you must be prepared to appeal. Currently, you can only appeal if the case is manslaughter by mistake. If the connection is confirmed, it will be difficult to recover.
