Attention! Don't fill in the shipping address randomly

FBA updates its shipping policy

Sellers please beware!!

Don't fill in the shipping address randomly.

Otherwise the shipment will be closed directly!

Why would you fill in a random address and use a local address for delivery?

When it comes to this issue, we must mention the abominable automatic warehouse distribution. Originally, your product was in ONT8, which had a very high cost-effectiveness ratio and very low logistics costs. Suddenly, when there was a replenishment, your product was directly distributed to a remote warehouse, a three-letter combination that you had never heard of.

People often ask in the group:

Has anyone sent it to XXX warehouse before? How is the speed of listing?

The goods have arrived for half a month, why haven’t they been put on the shelves yet?

At this moment, veteran sellers choose to "take my fate into my own hands" and directly swipe warehouses: fill in a local virtual address, close to the FBA warehouse you want to send to, or even across the street, to trigger Amazon's automatic warehouse distribution. You can swipe any warehouse you want, and the cost savings are real. The only disadvantage is that there is a chance of swiping warehouses, and you often swipe warehouses until you vomit. Let's take a look at the group members in the big selling circle:

A: How can I create a warehouse in the Eastern US?

Answer B: Find the overseas warehouse address in the Eastern U.S.

C said: US East and US Central are relatively easy, but if you want US West, you will have to vomit.

Impact of the New Deal Update

Let’s first look at the original policy text: For shipments created from February 1, 2024, if the shipment is not delivered within 45 days domestically/75 days internationally, the shipment will be automatically closed.

I have attached the completed English version of the policy map so that everyone can study it carefully to see if there are any loopholes.

In other words, there is less than a month left to refresh the warehouse. After February 1, if you choose local shipment, the actual delivery time is only 45 days. This time is very tight for sea transportation. Now the delivery time is included in the performance, which basically blocks the way to refresh the warehouse.

Shipment closures can cause the following issues:

  1. The appointment for warehousing failed , and the tail logistics cannot make an appointment for delivery. The shipment needs to be reopened. At this time, you can use the uncontrollable factors to open a case, which has a greater chance of success.

  2. Regarding the compensation issue , it is already difficult to compensate for the loss of FBA goods. Now that the goods are closed, FBA has a good reason not to compensate, so everyone must pay attention to the saved freight and the uncertainty of loss.

Finally, the warehouse was blocked. Amazon is guiding everyone to choose AGL/cooperative Send to logistics + AWD mode. AWD is actually the predecessor of satellite warehouse. Satellite warehouse has a general reputation. This time it changed its name and hopes to provide better service. AGL was popular for a while during the mask period (with pre-sale function), but due to service and timeliness issues, fewer and fewer people used it after the mask was over. I hope that this restart will pay attention to the previous problems.
