The seller contacted customer service and the performance team, but there was no effective solution. Amazon emailed that the listings were deleted because they were placed in the wrong product category, but the seller was sure that most of the listings were in the correct category. The seller said that he had been selling these products on Amazon for two years, and this was the first time he encountered such a situation. In addition, the seller mentioned that for greater convenience, he had previously used templates in the backend to upload listings ( from the fact that as many as 2,500 listings were deleted, this was probably a general merchandise seller, or a clothing seller). Later, the seller also posted the original text of the warning email: Hello, We removed some of your listings because they are in the wrong category. The listings we removed are at the bottom of this message. Sellers on Amazon.com are not allowed to list items or create product detail pages in the wrong category . If you do not have access to the correct category for an item, you may not list it on our site. If this problem continues, we may not allow you to sell on Amazon.com. It clearly states that sellers are not allowed to create products under the wrong category, otherwise the listing may not be listed normally. If this problem persists, Amazon will no longer allow sellers to sell on it! Category nodes are important Regarding category nodes, Amazon actually classifies products according to different categories. When sellers upload new products, they must first select the product category and place the products in the appropriate category from large to small. Amazon does this to help consumers find the products they need more accurately and improve their shopping experience. Similarly, choosing the right category is also related to the seller's product promotion. 1.
