What is Ou Dai? European Authorised Representative refers to a natural or legal person explicitly designated by a manufacturer outside the European Economic Area (EEA) (including EU and EFTA). This natural or legal person can represent the manufacturer outside the EEA to perform the specific duties required by the relevant EU directives and laws on behalf of the manufacturer. In addition, in order to better protect EU consumers and the environment, EU law requires that in order to achieve product traceability, products affixed with the CE mark and placed on the EU market by manufacturers must be marked with the manufacturer's name and contact address. Which sellers need EUD? ▲ Sellers who meet both of the following conditions need "European Representative": 1. The product is sold in the European Economic Area (EEA) (including EU and EFTA); 2. The products sold are within the scope of CE certification. Which products require EUD? ▲ Generally speaking, goods with CE mark imported from outside the EU require an EU authorized representative. Common goods with CE mark: toys, electronic appliances, radio equipment, personal protective equipment, measurement and testing equipment, pressure equipment, mechanical equipment, etc. What are the tasks that need to be performed as an EU representative: 1. Collect the product 's CE certification and other compliance test reports and related technical documents, EU Declaration of Conformity (DOC), and ensure that additional documents proving that the product complies with EU standards can be provided to the relevant agency in a voice that can be understood upon request. 2. Inform relevant agencies of any risks that the product may cause 3. Take necessary corrective actions to rectify any non-conformity of the product. Amazon may take the following actions against sellers whose EU representatives are not compliant: After July 2021, it will be illegal to sell goods without relevant EU agent information. 1. Once sellers selling such products are found, their products will be removed. 2. If sellers receive information asking them to modify their listings before or after the deadline, additional enforcement measures may be taken against their accounts if they continue to offer illegal listings. What is a Declaration of Conformity (DOC)? ▲ The EU Declaration of Conformity (DoC) is a written statement of conformity issued by the manufacturer for CE Marking products. Its main purpose is to prove that the product complies with the EU's requirements for such products. What does DOC include? ▲ The product name, model number and other product information can be matched to the attributes of the products listed on Amazon. ▲ EU regulations (directives) applicable to this DoC, including the corresponding harmonized standards and other technical indicators (EN standard). ▲ Manufacturer information or EU authorized representative information, testing agency name and address, report and other information. EU agency is indispensable. During the peak season, in order to avoid affecting product sales, please apply for it quickly. Many sellers do not know how to make DOC documents. If you apply for EU agency service here, you can also provide DOC. In addition, regarding products, sellers are sometimes required to provide product testing reports such as CE certification.
