In the past two days, many sellers have reported that Amazon conducted a large-scale account sweep yesterday , and their accounts were also swept, and are now facing a second review.

As soon as I received the news, I conducted an in-depth investigation. After all, this kind of incident is like a world falling for sellers who have just entered Amazon. Some sellers told me that more than 30 of their accounts were collectively hit , and some sellers even had nearly 80 accounts re-examined . However, some sellers said that several of their purchased accounts are still safe.


It is worth noting that many of the compromised accounts were bought by sellers . Purchased accounts may not necessarily have problems, but most of the problematic accounts are these accounts.


Xiaozhi learned that this time Amazon scanned a large number of accounts, resulting in some newly registered accounts being subject to a second review. The reason may be that the sellers used irregular "investment links" on the market to register accounts .


This is not the first time that such things have happened. In July last year, the 2020 investment season came to an end, and there was a strange phenomenon that investment links were hard to find. Then, some service providers took advantage of the loopholes, created fake links, and sold them at extremely high prices. After discovering the problem, the relevant Amazon team quickly rectified it, and at that time, a large number of sellers also encountered the second trial.


This incident is actually not much different from last year's incident. Some sellers were eager to open a store, so they purchased irregular links to register, which resulted in problems with the store.


You should know that one set of information can only register one account! A set of information costs at least several thousand yuan. Blind registration will only cause the information to be scrapped. Everyone must be cautious!

Amazon’s second review is very strict, so what should sellers do when they receive a review email?


First of all, after receiving the second-instance email, the seller can first go to the investment manager to confirm whether it is a second-instance. If so, the seller can try to appeal first.


So, how do you file an appeal? Follow the editor's steps:


Before appealing, please check your backend address

Please log in to the seller backend and check the office address you filled in when you registered:

How to submit appeal materials (two methods)

Method 1:

Go to the backend and click "Please check your indicators and reactivate your account"

Click "Reactivate your account", fill in the content of the appeal as shown in the figure below, and click the red box to add attachments such as bills

Method 2:

After entering the backend, submit the appeal materials through the following location: Performance Notification-Appeal-Error Deactivation-Add Document

Things to note when filing a complaint


Please note the following when filling in and submitting the appeal bill document:

1. Please fill in the content of the appeal page carefully and in an orderly manner to avoid wasting appeal opportunities and appeal resources; you can explain the content of each attachment in English and explain that your account was closed by mistake. Upload the bills for water, electricity, coal, Internet, landline, etc. within 90 days with your company or your legal representative as the letterhead. If there are other materials or documents that can prove that your company is operating normally, you can also add them here. (For example, your company's official website, your company's store links on other e-commerce websites, etc.)

Example: “My account has been wrongly blocked on **** (date). I assure my company is in normal operation at below address: ****

Please refer to my attachment named: month+waterbill/ month+electricitybill/ month+gasbill

Seek your double check and review in my account reinstate.

Thank you!”

2. When uploading a scanned copy or photo of a paper bill, please ensure that:

1) The address on the bill is clearly visible, showing the company name or the name of the legal representative

2) The address of the above bill must be consistent with the backend address

3) The bill must be issued within 90 days

4) Clear and complete, must be a color photo or color scan

5) You may not photoshop or alter the file (including any annotations or comments on the photo)

6) Do not cover or smudge the image, and do not use screenshots or screenshots

7) If it is really impossible to provide water, electricity, gas and other bills in the name of the legal person or the company, the following materials can also be provided as auxiliary evidence for review by relevant departments:

a) Color photo/color scan of household registration book: if the legal representative and the person named on the bill are under the same household registration

b) Marriage certificate: when the legal representative and the person on the bill are married

c) VAT invoice for water, electricity and gas: If you are unable to provide the bill for the backend address, but can submit the bill for water, electricity and gas with the VAT invoice for water, electricity and gas including the backend address


No response after submitting an appeal

After submitting all the information, you will generally receive the first email reply within two working days. If you do not receive a reply within three working days, you can re-submit the previously submitted information in the same location in the background.


After submitting the complaint, I was informed that the information was incomplete

If you receive a performance notification reply stating that the information you provided is incomplete, it is recommended that you prepare more detailed information, such as: utility bills for water, electricity, gas, etc. for three consecutive months, or other information as mentioned above that can assist in proving that your actual office address is consistent with the backend address.


After submitting an appeal, I was told that my account was still suspended

If you receive the following performance notification stating that your Amazon sales account is still deactivated, you can submit all submitted 1) billing information 2) background company address screenshots 3) background appeal record screenshots to your account manager and let your account manager decide whether to help you appeal again internally.
