I still remember the tragic scene on March 17 when Amazon restricted the entry of non-essential goods into its warehouses, and sellers crowded the backend, causing it to crash. Today, history repeated itself, with many sellers saying they had received notices from the US site restricting the entry of goods into the warehouse. The announcement released by Amazon is as follows↓↓↓ I will now highlight the key points: 1. Inventory Performance Index Threshold Changes Amazon changed the minimum IPI threshold requirement to 500. Sellers below 500 will be subject to restrictions from August 16, 2020 to the end of the year. Most sellers will not be affected by this change. Most sellers with an IPI score below 500 will have more storage space. Sellers can improve their IPI by following guidance on improving sales or reducing excess and stranded inventory through the Inventory Performance Dashboard. 2. Quantity Limitation Amazon will introduce ASIN-level quantity limits for products in FBA. Most products will have enough space for more than three months of sales. Sellers can view the quantity limits for products on the Restock Inventory page and Restock Report. Amazon will continually review this and make adjustments to allow more products when possible. 3. Free removal promotion Starting July 14, 2020, Amazon will waive fees for any removal orders that sellers submit for inventory at Amazon fulfillment centers. Many sellers were ready to rush in after hearing the news, but got this result... Limited delivery, here we go again! The seller who thought he was invincible after going through so many hardships was once again defeated by the cruel reality! For a while, the sellers group exploded again... Some sellers said they were not panicking at all, and that even those with inventory performance scores below 500 were given sufficient replenishment quantity recommendations. Some sellers also asked if it was the spring for small sellers like us, but some sellers complained: The real big sellers knew it a long time ago, and many of the real big sellers have overseas warehouses, so they are not panicking at all. Some sellers said: It has nothing to do with inventory performance, my 700 is also limited. Then a seller responded: In addition to IPI, we also need to calculate the sales volume of ASIN. Some sellers who shipped their products ahead of schedule were smug: " I guessed it a long time ago. All the goods have been shipped this month and can be sold until November."
However, according to sellers’ feedback, shipments can be created normally in Europe and Japan. So the sellers in the US are the worst off! Does this restriction on shipments have a big impact on everyone? If you have any complaints, you can discuss them in the comments section~ |
