Amazon system crashed again! Sellers collectively suffered zero orders!

Today is November 26th. For many Amazon sellers, today is the day when the Black Friday discounts take effect. After experiencing the "zero order" test in the past few days, many sellers will pin their hopes on today's shopping climax.

However, the sellers’ hard work was ultimately in vain. Instead of experiencing a surge in orders, the sellers waited for the Amazon system to crash!

“Amazon system crashed again!”

"If I am guilty, please let the law punish me instead of letting Amazon scare me to death."

On the eve of the Black Friday discounts, many sellers stayed up all night. When I heard the news and rushed over, the sellers’ group was already full of complaints about Amazon.

Last night, in the seller communication group, a large number of sellers reported that the Amazon system seemed to be abnormal. When logging into the backend, it always prompted a website error, and orders did not update for a long time. Advertisements could not be burned out, but the rankings remained unchanged.

At this time, many sellers were panicking. Today was the day when the Black Friday discounts would take effect. Could it be that there was something wrong with their accounts again? Since orders had not been updated for a long time, many sellers’ backend pages were still in the “zero orders” state, which made the sellers worried all night. Was it a problem with the Amazon system or their own listings?

I thought the order abnormality was only temporary and maybe it would return to normal overnight. However , until this morning, the Amazon system still showed abnormalities and the seller’s order status has not been updated yet!

The long-term crash of Amazon's backend has made many sellers cry, including many foreign sellers. What should they do on today's Black Friday? Whether in the seller communication group or on the Amazon forum, you can see sellers complaining about Amazon.

In fact, Amazon system failures are not uncommon, but this time it happened during Black Friday, and the long-term failure has caused many sellers to suffer "zero orders", so sellers can no longer remain calm. So, what is the reason for this large-scale order abnormality incident?

Some sellers received an email from Amazon explaining a "system failure". The email said: The problem we are currently experiencing is affecting all or part of Seller Central, including the possibility of backend processing systems. We will queue up in advance for processing, and after resolving this issue, we will continue to process it through the system. Our engineers are actively working on this issue.

From the email, we can see that Amazon is aware of the severity of the system failure and is actively working to resolve the problem, but it did not indicate when the system will be back to normal, nor did it specify where the problem occurred.

According to the editor, the culprit of the Amazon system crash may be the failure of Amazon's cloud service AWS! And with the failure of the cloud service, many websites also suffered!

According to the latest official news from Amazon, its emergency team has found the root cause of the failure and is still working to restore the previous failure.

At the same time, Amazon once again issued an announcement for US sellers:

Due to a malfunction at Amazon's North American site, order data stopped updating from around 23:00 on November 25.

We are currently confirming this outage with Amazon and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Once the Amazon interface is restored, we will help you restore the missing data as soon as possible.

Therefore, sellers do not need to be too anxious. Amazon is also carrying out emergency repairs and I believe everything will return to normal in a while.

We will also follow up on this matter at any time and provide the seller with the latest information as soon as possible!

I wonder what impact this has had on sellers? Feel free to comment in the comments section.
