Therefore, the grounding of Ever Forward will not cause huge economic losses like EVER GIVEN.
 
It is learned that as of March 15, the Ever Forward is still stranded near the Port of Baltimore, USA, and the original shipping schedule is expected to be delayed. Although the cause of the grounding is still unclear, no casualties have been caused.
 
However, in addition to the recent grounding of the Evergreen cargo ship, the logistics of cross-border sellers have also stagnated due to the upgraded epidemic prevention and control measures in Shenzhen.

It is learned that after announcing the suspension of city-wide transportation and the implementation of closed management, on March 15, Shenzhen issued another notice to suspend the centralized cross-border freight connection operations at the Liantang Port.

 
The notice stated that after consultation and agreement between the governments of Guangdong and Hong Kong, the cross-border freight centralized shuttle service at the Liantang Port will be suspended from 00:00 on March 15, and the specific resumption time will be announced separately.
 
 
In addition, shipping companies such as Maersk, CMA CGM, and ONE have also issued notices to make changes to logistics services in some epidemic areas.
 
It is also learned that the warehouse in Shenzhen will remain closed from March 14 to March 20. In terms of land transportation, drivers can continue to provide truck transportation services if they hold a negative nucleic acid test report.
 
The epidemic in Shenzhen has escalated, cross-border logistics has been hindered, and cross-border e-commerce has encountered many difficulties.
 
However, what was unexpected was that just two days before Shenzhen issued a notice to comprehensively upgrade the city's epidemic prevention and control, a container truck driver took the risk by letting others take nucleic acid samples on his behalf and forged nucleic acid test reports, completely ignoring the already extremely urgent epidemic situation in Shenzhen.
 
As of now, the truck driver has been handed over to the public security authorities for handling.
 
 
It was learned that from 0:00 to 24:00 on March 15, Shenzhen had 92 new cases, of which 55 were diagnosed as confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 37 were diagnosed as asymptomatic carriers of the new coronavirus.
