In select U.S. cities, Amazon offers Prime members free delivery on tens of thousands of everyday household items, grocery essentials and some Amazon products in two hours or less.

Delivery windows are usually open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., but may extend to midnight, depending on the city.

4. Amazon Key home delivery

In select cities and surrounding areas across the United States, Amazon offers the Amazon Key Home Kit service, which enables secure home delivery of millions of eligible items, including items purchased for guests, friends, and family.

On the day of delivery, consumers will receive a notification in the morning and be given a four-hour window for the driver to deliver the item. Before the driver arrives, consumers will receive an “Arriving Now” notification and can watch the delivery live through the Amazon Key app.

5. Amazon Key in-car delivery

Amazon can also deliver packages securely to consumers' vehicles when parked in publicly accessible areas. As of April 2018, the service works with most 2015 model year or newer Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac, and Volvo vehicles that utilize active connected car service programs such as OnStar or Volvo On Call.

Similar to home deliveries, consumers are able to track the delivery status in real time.

6. AmazonFresh grocery delivery

With an AmazonFresh membership ($14.99 per month), consumers can purchase fresh groceries by shopping online and choosing a convenient delivery window to avoid waiting in line at the supermarket.

Amazon's acquisition of Whole Foods makes it easy for consumers to order Whole Foods' 365 brand products.

7. Prime Wardrobe clothing fitting service

Prime Wardrobe allows consumers to easily try on new styles of clothing they want to buy. Consumers can select three or more items from the women's, men's, children's, baby clothing, shoes and accessories categories; consumers will then have seven days to try on the new clothes at home and decide what they want to buy.

If you don't want to buy clothes, you can return them online and then return the unwanted clothing in a resealable box with Amazon prepaid shipping.

8. Prime Exclusive Unlocked Phones

Unlocked phones allow for more freedom and flexibility because they are not tied to a specific phone carrier. These prices on LG, Nokia phones are only available to Prime members.

9. Rewards credit cards with no annual fees or foreign transaction fees

The Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card offers benefits to consumers in three areas:

1. 5% rebate on Amazon.com and Whole Foods Market;

2. Get 2% rebate on purchases at restaurants, gas stations and drug stores;

3. 1% back on all other purchases.

Upon approval, cardholders will also instantly receive a $70 Amazon.com gift card.

10. Prime Pantry membership allows you to buy household and grocery essentials

Prime Pantry membership ($4.99 per month) gives consumers access to thousands of household essentials, many of which are not available anywhere else on Amazon.

Exclusive Pantry coupons offer even more savings, and customers can get free shipping on orders of $40 or more, otherwise they will pay $7.99 per order.

11. Exclusive offers and discounts

Only Prime members can get benefits on certain products and Amazon services, such as free delivery on restaurant orders, deals on dog and pet food, and discounts on the latest movies and TV shows through Prime Video.

12. Benefit the whole family with Amazon Household

Two adults and up to four teens and four children can form a "Family," and everyone in the family enjoys Prime membership benefits such as free shipping, Prime Video and Prime Photos, and can share e-books, audiobooks, apps, and more.

13. Get free shipping, rewards or discounts if you don’t rush delivery

If consumers can wait a few days to receive their merchandise, they can earn rewards on future purchases or get discounts immediately. Once a consumer's free No-Rush order ships, the rewards will be automatically added to his or her account.
