What is GTIN? GTIN Review
The Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) is a set of digital codes that uniquely identify retail goods, non-retail goods, and logistics units . It can be widely used in product management, logistics transportation, data synchronization, e -commerce, mobile commerce and other fields.

Basic Introduction

The Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) is the most widely used identification code in the coding system. A trade item refers to a product or service. GTIN is a code (called a code structure) that provides a unique identification for global trade items. There are four different code structures for GTIN: GTIN-13, GTIN-14, GTIN-8 and GTIN-12. These four structures can uniquely encode goods in different packaging forms. Regardless of the field of trade items in which the identification code is applied, each identification code must be used in an integrated manner. A complete identification code can ensure global uniqueness in the relevant application field.
