LeBoncoin Development History

LeBoncoin was founded in 2006 by Olivier Aizac.

In 2013, the site had a turnover of €124.3 million.

In June 2015, Leboncoin.fr chose Reims for its new local advertising consultancy business. LeBoncoin is SCM's second attempt in Southern Europe for the "Quantity Block" concept and technology.

In 2016, the site launched a new logo and redesigned its pages for the first time in 10 years. Likewise, the turnover is 214 million euros, more than tripling in five years, and the total number of new ads published every day exceeds 800,000.

In October 2017, LeBoncoin announced the acquisition of the A Vendre A Louer real estate platform previously owned by SoLocal Group.

In November 2018, LeBoncoin acquired Videdressing for an undisclosed amount.
