What is Musiio? Musiio Review
Founded in 2018, Musiio is the first venture-backed music technology startup in Southeast Asia. Website : https://www.musiio.com Founders: Hazel Savage, Aron Pettersson Headquarters: Singapore Industry: Southeast Asia Music Technology Company Founded: 2018

Basic Introduction

Musiio uses artificial intelligence technology to classify music tracks according to their characteristics and patterns, making it easier to discover new tracks. Musiio hopes to provide a more efficient and timely technology-driven way to ensure that new music created by different artists can get equal publishing opportunities. It is said that the technology mastered by Musiio can shorten the time to browse 100,000 pieces of music to 5 seconds. The company's first big customer is Free Music Archive.

Function Introduction

1. Musicio Tag enables fast tagging, using over 50 million learning data points from a production-quality commercial music database. It is a trustworthy tagging tool with an accuracy of over 90% and can run in the background without any supervision required.

2. With Musiio Search, you can search your catalog using the most cutting-edge way - audio reference. By pasting an audio link, mp3 or music track from the catalog into the search tool, users now no longer have to find the words to describe the track they are looking for. Instead, they are able to use a "reference track" or what we call a seed track, and can spend their time enjoying accurate audio matches instead of getting stuck in an inaccurate keyword loop and poor search results.

3. Playlists are the ultimate way this generation consumes music. Frequently refreshed personalized playlists are what today's users expect. Our API solution is designed for streaming and provides fast, high-quality personalized curation to increase user listening time and improve loyalty. We listen to everything users listen to and create instant customized playlist experiences based on their sound profiles.

Workflow

Development History

In December 2018, music technology startup Musiio launched a music platform based on artificial intelligence (AI) system, which brings together record companies, music integration and music production libraries. This AI system ignores other factors such as the number of fans and commercial influence, but relies entirely on analyzing the music and screening it based on the quality of the music, vocal characteristics and other sound characteristics.

Financing

In February 2019, Singaporean music technology startup Musiio completed a US$1 million seed round of financing, with Wavemaker Partners and Exponential Creativity Ventures participating in this round of financing.
