What is the Amazon Marketplace Professional Services Program? Amazon Marketplace Professional Services Program Review

Amazon Marketplace Professional Services Program is a training program launched by Amazon to help new and old sellers improve their e-commerce sales skills. Also known as the Amazon Platform Professional Services Program, the program was launched in February 2018.

Project types are divided into entry-level and growth-level


1. Entry level – Amazon Marketplace Starter


Learn how to start selling on Amazon, upload your products, manage the day-to-day operations of your account, grow your business, and optimize your sales.


The account manager’s guidance covers: how to use Seller Central to manage your account, how to set up Prime and provide fast free delivery services; setting up product listings, including basic product uploads and page optimization; optimizing product listings, setting up advertising campaigns, deals, promotions, social media marketing, etc. to obtain maximum product exposure.


Seller Qualifications: Sellers who sell on the US site and whose seller accounts were opened in the past 12 months.


Training duration: 3 months.


Training costs: $700 per month.


2. Growth Level – Amazon Marketplace Growth


Learn how to grow your business, optimize sales, and get guidance on key business issues.


The account manager's guidance covers: how to monitor and improve the health of the business; expand the business (increase product selection, try new Amazon projects); optimize product listings, set up advertising campaigns, deals, promotions, social media marketing, etc. to obtain maximum product exposure.


Seller qualifications: Sellers selling on the US site, active professional seller accounts, and good performance in the past 12 months.


Training duration: 12 months.


Training fee: depends on the seller’s annual sales. If the annual sales is < 1 million USD, the monthly fee is 2,500 USD. If the annual sales is 1 million USD or less, the monthly fee is 3,500 USD. If the annual sales is > 10 million USD, the monthly fee is 5,000 USD.
