Canva has more than 1 million images, fonts and other materials. Team users can use the advanced features of the Canva platform by paying a monthly fee of US$12.95 or a one-time annual fee of US$9.95 per month, including saving design works to different folders, automatically adjusting the size of design works to share with others on social media, and sharing designs and collaborating with larger teams.


Canva also has a design marketplace where designers, illustrators and photographers can put their works on the market, and Canva users can purchase and use these works for only $1.


Instructions


Canva provides different design modes according to different needs of users, such as social network stickers, PPT, posters, Facebook covers, and Instagram pictures. Users choose the appropriate mode according to their needs, and then Canva will provide the corresponding templates to choose from. For each picture design, Canva will guide users to design the corresponding layout, background and text. If users don’t like it very much, they can also search in Canva’s resource library online, including picture materials, icons, chart materials, etc. Of course, users can also upload their favorite pictures for editing.

-In August 2013, Canva launched the BETA version and received a good response.


In 2013, Canva raised $3 million in seed funding from Matrix Partners, InterWest Partners, 500 Startups and numerous angel investors.


In July 2014, Canva announced the “Canva Button”, a simple plugin for third-party websites that allows users to create their own graphics.

-In October 2014, the number of users exceeded one million.


-In November 2014, Canva launched the Design Academy and Design Marketplace, where users can learn design in the Academy and purchase other people's works in the Design Marketplace.


-In April 2015, Canva completed a $6 million angel round of financing led by Felicis Ventures.


-In October 2015, Canva announced that it had successfully obtained US$15 million in Series A financing.


-In 2018, Canva received a US$40 million Series C financing led by Sequoia China, with participation from Felivis Ventures and Blackbird Ventures.
