Amazon Prime Day is a highly anticipated global shopping carnival. In order to welcome this festival, sellers are on full alert, and Amazon is not idle either. After several rounds of sweeps, it finally set the specific time for the Prime Day event.

At present, the most important thing to prepare for Prime Day is account security. Recently, Amazon launched a new "Site-wide Account Protection Program" (AHA), which is a new benefit for professional selling plan sellers who have maintained a high account status rating.

What is the Account Health Assurance (AHA) program?

Amazon’s Account Health Guarantee Program (AHA) is a new policy designed to provide additional protection for Professional Selling Plan sellers who maintain a high account health rating over a long period of time.

Its core goal is to reduce account risks caused by misoperation or misunderstanding by providing a more user-friendly account management method, and ensure the continuity and stability of the seller's business.

If your account has participated in the protection plan, it will not be immediately blocked when you encounter a situation that leads to account suspension. Instead, the platform will contact the seller first, and as long as the seller cooperates with the platform to solve the problem within 72 hours, the account will not be blocked again. (This is equivalent to giving excellent sellers a chance to correct their mistakes.)

After participating in the account status protection plan, it will not only not affect the daily operations of the sellers, but also allow the sellers to know in detail which operation is risky for the account, so that they will not have to look for problems like a headless fly after the account is blocked.

Applicable sites: The Account Health Guarantee Program (AHA) is currently available in all Amazon marketplaces around the world. There is no charge to join the Account Health Guarantee (AHA) program.

AHA Program Highlights

> 72-hour problem resolution grace period : When a seller's account encounters a problem that may lead to deactivation, Amazon will contact the seller in advance and give a 72-hour problem resolution grace period. This provides sellers with valuable time to resolve the problem and avoid business interruption.

> Global coverage : The AHA program is now available on all Amazon marketplaces around the world. Sellers can enjoy this benefit no matter which market they sell in, as long as they meet the requirements. This measure will greatly enhance the global competitiveness of sellers.

> Multi-site sales protection : For sellers who sell products on multiple sites, the AHA program provides additional protection. If a problem occurs on one site, the seller will have the opportunity to resolve it within 72 hours to avoid affecting sales on other sites.

Conditions for joining the Account Health Assurance (AHA) program

Sellers who want to join the program need to meet the following conditions:

  • Maintain an account health rating score above 250 for at least 6 months. The number of days below 250 should not exceed 10 days. A valid emergency contact number should also be archived.

  • Must meet the 250-point account health rating standard and have no violations that would affect the score

  • The minimum order volume required is 2,600 orders within the last 180 days.

As long as the above conditions are met, you will receive a registration confirmation email from the official mailbox, and you can check your registration status on the "Account Status" page of the Amazon Seller Platform.

Add emergency contact number

Setting up a valid emergency contact number is an essential step to meet the requirements for joining the Amazon Account Health Assurance (AHA) program.

Step 1: Seller Central > Navigate to the Performance menu > Select the Account Health option > Select Account Health Protection Program > Click Monitor My Performance or View Eligibility Requirements to proceed.

Step 2: "Account Health Protection Plan" page > Click the "Verify or Update Emergency Contact Number" option > Follow the prompts to complete the setting or update of the emergency contact number.

By following the above steps, sellers can ensure that their emergency contact numbers are set up correctly, thereby meeting the requirements for joining the AHA program and enjoying the various benefits and protections provided by the program.

What will cause loss of the Account Health Assurance (AHA) plan?

Sellers please note: The full-site account protection plan is not a “get out of jail free” card!

Amazon has made it clear that regardless of whether a seller is eligible for the AHA program, if Amazon believes that the seller has engaged in fraudulent, deceptive, illegal, or other harmful activities, including but not limited to false pricing, false reviews, forged product information, misleading consumers, false advertising, unfair competition, selling counterfeit and shoddy goods, infringement of intellectual property rights, etc., Amazon has the right to immediately remove the seller from the AHA program and deactivate its seller account to protect the interests of buyers, other selling partners, and the Amazon store.

Amazon officially released the following red lines for store operations:

1. Always provide accurate information to Amazon and buyers

2. Act fairly and do not abuse Amazon’s features or services

3. Do not attempt to harm or abuse other sellers and their products/ratings

4. Do not attempt to influence buyer ratings, feedback, and comments

5. Do not send unsolicited or inappropriate communications

6. Contact buyers only through the buyer-seller messaging service

7. Do not try to circumvent the Amazon sales process

8. You may not operate multiple seller accounts on Amazon without reasonable business needs.

9. Do not violate price-fixing laws

Amazon's Account Health Assurance Program (AHA) provides sellers with a more stable and secure operating environment. By providing benefits such as a 72-hour problem resolution grace period, global coverage, and multi-site sales protection, the AHA program will effectively reduce sellers' account risks caused by misoperation or misunderstanding, and ensure the continuity and stability of sellers' businesses.

Therefore, for eligible sellers, joining the AHA program is undoubtedly a wise choice.
