"Black technology" makes people love and hate it, and it is also one of the topics that many sellers are interested in, but it involves risks, and if you do not have sufficient risk resistance, you need to treat it with caution. The following are common "black technologies" for cross-site operations. They are for reference only and are not instructive. ★ Add sensitive words across sites: Brushing sensitive products such as adult products and pesticides on small sites, or changing the categories of other sites to entertainment and collectibles, may cause the listing to lose the shopping cart. ★ “0 cost” transfer of inventory after European store account closure: Applicable to stores that can be accessed normally and are linked to the Pan-European Plan. Site A is blocked, and other sites set low prices. After purchasing with a buyer's number, it will be transferred to an overseas warehouse. Radicals can get a refund after purchase. ★ Cross-site mirrored comments (comment sharing without parent): The principle is to first synchronize the US site A link to the UK site and merge it with the B link, refresh the shared comments, and then synchronize the UK site B link back to the US site and merge it with the A link. It is possible to use system delays to maintain comment sharing, but this is currently not feasible. ★ Zombie comments (merge other comment links to get a large number of comments): The steps are to find zombie links, modify attributes (share comments if the categories are consistent), and merge variants. Cross-site links are often used, and you can determine whether to merge zombie links by looking at the sudden surge in competitor reviews or the variant wizard. ★ Modify brand/image/attribute across sites: Used for product 8541 error reporting or brand change requirements. For example, if the brand of link A in the US site is changed, first refresh the brand to the old and new brand names in the Canadian and Mexican sites, then change the new brand name, and finally return to the US site to modify it using the template. This method has a relatively high success rate. ★ Cross-site consumer law: If the consumer law review on the US site fails and there is no entrance to submit materials, you can resubmit the materials on the Canadian or Mexican site to trigger the review. After the review is passed, a new verification entrance will appear on the US site. However, this method may no longer work. ★ Cancel order across sites: When a removal order is automatically created for a product on the US site due to inventory overage and cannot be canceled directly, you can click the Cancel button multiple times on the Mexico or Canada site to try to cancel it. You can also modify the code (press F12 to open the developer tools, search for "disable" and delete the relevant code) to make the Cancel button clickable. ★ Cross-site renovation: Usually used to handle refurbishment after the link becomes a dog. First go to other sites (such as the Mexican site) to follow the deleted link, open a case for mapping, and after success, synchronize back to the original site to complete the renovation. ★ Cross-site unauthorized follow-up sales: No brand authorization is required to follow-sell specific links. It is mostly used for small accounts to follow-sell or follow-sell zombie links. It can reduce the risk of association, but it is easy to trigger authenticity video verification and should be used with caution. ★ Cross-site international comments (enabling comment sharing): Based on the principle of synchronizing reviews with ASIN, all site reviews under the same ASIN will be merged. As long as the product is listed on the local site and the reviews can be displayed, the reviews will be automatically synchronized, leaving more room for operation. Cross-site spoofs are often centered around follow-selling. After gaining control, the follow-sellers will modify the copy in batches and add sensitive words. There are three underlying principles to deal with: 1. Allocation of control rights : Brand sellers and sellers who list products for the first time have the highest link authority. Usually, sellers who list SKUs for the first time are given control rights (based on SKU dimension, not ASIN). 2. Subdivision of control rights : It can be divided into multiple parts. For example, the control rights of the main picture, title, etc. can belong to different sellers. 3. Information and control : If the listing information is filled in, there is a high probability of gaining control, while if it is not filled in, it is easy for other sellers to grab it. Based on this, the following important operational recommendations are made for cross-site operations: ● Synchronous links : Synchronize links to other sites in advance to gain control, making it difficult for competitors to spoof. For example, after the US site has a stable product listing, synchronize it to the Canadian site, etc., to prevent competitors from following the sale and gaining control to spoof. Although VC sellers can follow the sale to gain control, the cost is high. ● Improve Listing : Ensure that the listing information on each site is complete and accurate, including title, description, pictures, attributes, etc. Pay special attention to the easily overlooked more details attribute to increase the difficulty for competitors to tamper with information. ● Prevent intellectual property risks : Intellectual property protection is regional, and products may infringe on each other’s rights at different sites. If there are patent issues, synchronization prohibitions must be set up. ● Register the trademark at the main sales site : Trademark protection is also regional. Registering the main sales site can prevent complaints, while also guarding against brand abuse that could implicate other sites. ● Utilize the Transparency Plan : The core anti-selling function can prevent competitors’ spoofs and small sites from being maliciously sold. It is recommended to enable it, which can also enhance consumer trust. ● Site operation : Sites that are not in use should be closed or set to holiday mode to reduce risks, such as scanning and blocking accounts. Synchronous sites that have issued orders should be bound to the collection account. ● Choose the right logistics solution: Choose FBA (Amazon Logistics) or a third-party overseas warehouse based on product features, weight and volume, sales targets, etc. FBA has fast delivery time and can improve customer experience, but the cost is relatively high; overseas warehouses can reduce costs and facilitate returns and exchanges. ● Optimize inventory management: Use data analysis to predict sales at each site, arrange inventory reasonably, and avoid out-of-stock or overstocking. If a site has overstocked inventory, it can be digested through promotions at other sites, avoiding inventory waste, improving capital utilization efficiency, and reducing inventory costs. The above content is expected to help you gain a better understanding of cross-site operations. In general, operating different sites requires responding to different consumer needs, market rules, marketing channels, etc., and accumulating rich operational experience, which can be used across sites to improve the overall operational level. |
