A complete guide to getting reviews on Amazon Vine green label!




Many sellers now say that it is difficult to obtain reviews. The actual review rate for orders is only 1%-5%. Moreover, many methods such as direct reviews, asking service providers for reviews, and asking customers for reviews on social media are now very easy to violate regulations.

Currently, Vine is a shortcut for sellers to quickly obtain high-quality reviews for new products.


Amazon Vine



Vine is the only legal way for Amazon to give away products for free and get reviews. Sellers participating in this program provide products to Amazon reviewers who have joined the Amazon Vine program for review. These reviewers (Vine spokespersons) are selected because they can post insightful reviews of the products they purchased on the Amazon store.



Each review is marked with the "Vine Customer Review of Free Product" logo. Vine voice reviews are highly valued and will not be deleted by Amazon. This helps increase conversion rates, especially during the new product period.

Sellers who meet the following conditions can join the program:

  • Successfully registered Amazon brand and is the brand owner

  • The product details page of the listing has fewer than 30 reviews

  • The product is in new condition

  • The product is shipped using FBA and has inventory available for purchase

  • Non-adult products

  • Listings are already published when you sign up for the program

  • Comes with product images and descriptions

Four ways to use the Amazon Vine green label



The first one:
After a new product is put on the shelves for hundreds or thousands of times, while advertising, Vine is registered for the product link in accordance with regulations.

The advantage of doing this is that you can do promotion and product testing at the same time, and if the product is of good quality, you can quickly accumulate natural reviews and Vine comments for the link.

The downside is that if the link has no reviews, the conversion rate of the ad may drop significantly.


Second type:
Some smart sellers choose to register Vine after launching new products, and then start advertising promotion after receiving some positive reviews. The advantage of doing so is that it can reduce the difficulty of promotion and improve advertising effectiveness.


However, the disadvantage of this method is that if the Vine collection speed is slow, the evaluation feedback will also be delayed accordingly, and the peak traffic period of the new product may be missed.


If a new product has no sales for a long time, the Amazon system may consider the product to be unpopular, and it will be very difficult to promote it later.



The third type:

A small amount of new products are first sent by air freight, specifically for Vine registration. At the same time, a large amount of goods are sent by sea freight. By the time the sea freight arrives, the Vine reviews of the air freight products are almost complete.


The key is that the listings for air and sea freight need to be created separately. After the sea freight goods arrive, the air freight listings with reviews are merged with the sea freight listings, and then the promotion activities on and off the site can be started.


It should be noted that the titles and five-point descriptions of air and sea freight listings should be different to avoid the risk of being automatically merged by the system.


This approach avoids the risks of the second strategy mentioned above, because the new product period is usually calculated from the time the product is put on the shelves.



The fourth type :
Some people use Vine to test products. They select a variety of products with different styles, functions or materials, send them to FBA in small quantities and in a variety of ways, and then start Vine.

Based on which products are received more and more positively, consider sending bulk shipments of these products.

This method is relatively safe and is much better than blindly sending large quantities of goods but having difficulty promoting them, or receiving a large number of negative reviews after promotion.

However, the Vine registration cost required to do so is also considerable. It can only be said that for sellers with sufficient funds, this is not a problem.



Although Vine is a good tool, it is not suitable for all situations. Sometimes, products that are easy to send out and get good reviews are not necessarily easy to promote; and products that are difficult to send out at the beginning may perform better in the market.

As for the impact of price on promotion, this is not absolute. As long as you find the right methods and strategies, high-priced products can also be promoted well.
