Zalando is developing rapidly in the Spanish market! There are 300 offline stores

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, the online fashion retail platform Zalando has 300 offline stores in Spain, and its market scale in Spain has been further expanded.

It is reported that Spain has become Zalando's most important market outside of Germany within a year since the launch of the "Connected Retail Service" in June 2020. In May this year, Zalando signed an agreement with Unibail Rodamco-Westfield: to incorporate stores in its shopping malls into Zalando.

"In Zalando's global strategy and in its specific strategy for Spain, the goal is to continue the integration of local stores through connected retail and partnerships," said Riccardo Vola, Zalando's director for southern Europe.

Riccardo Vola further stated: “Spain is currently the most important international market for connected retail. The ease with which physical stores can connect to Zalando has enabled them to digitize their business and expand their customer base. Zalando has eliminated the sales commission associated with this service, which has accelerated the growth of its store count (currently 4,000).

It is reported that Zalando currently has 42 million registered customers, and Spain will play an important role in the growth of its registered users. Zalando has opened physical stores in Germany in a direct sales model. Due to the increase in demand for outlets, Zalando is planning to open two more physical stores in Munich and Nuremberg.
