eMarketer predicts: US social e-commerce will reach 79.64 billion US dollars in 2025!

It is learned that social e-commerce is currently a multi-billion dollar industry in the United States. According to eMarketer data, sales in the US market were $26.97 billion in 2020. This figure is expected to more than double to $56.17 billion by 2023. By 2025, social e-commerce will become a $79.64 billion industry in the United States.

Data shows that social e-commerce is most popular among Generation Z: more than half of American social media users aged 18 to 24 shop through social channels.

 

In the United States, millennials are most likely to use social media networks as an important source of information for shopping decisions. In addition, social e-commerce shopping is also popular in China and Russia, where 51.5% and 49.5% of social network users, respectively, have purchased through social channels.
