It is learned that according to foreign media reports, Walmart said in an interview with the media on January 4 that it will hire more than 3,000 delivery drivers in the United States this year and establish a fleet of electric delivery trucks to support its grocery delivery services and strengthen the last-mile distribution network.

It is reported that Walmart is currently serving 6 million American households, and the goal is to serve 30 million households in 2022. Therefore, Walmart has been continuously improving its own distribution network.

According to reports, Walmart launched a grocery delivery service in 2017, delivering goods directly to shoppers; during the outbreak of the new coronavirus in 2019, Walmart implemented a full door-to-door delivery service for packages; in 2020, it launched a "last mile" delivery truck; and in 2021, it launched a significant delivery plan, which is to provide last-mile delivery services for other retailers.
