About 17,630 units sold! Domestic car cleaners are urgently recalled!

According to foreign media reports, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of approximately 17,630 WORX brand electric high-pressure cleaners on February 9. The reason for the recall is that during the use of the product, the spray hose will separate from the spray rod, which is easy to injure the user and others.

It is reported that the recalled product is used for washing cars. The model is WG606 13 Amp 1900 PSI, the color is gray and orange, with the WORX brand name on the front and "Electric Pressure Washer" printed on the handle. There are two recall serial number ranges, namely 20210200078905-20210200096490 and 20210200097286-20210200097881. The serial number and model are printed on the product label. It is learned that the recalled vacuum cleaners were all produced in China and imported by Positec USA Inc. They were sold in Menards stores and other hardware stores and online at https://www.menards.com from April to November 2021, with a price of approximately US$180.

The CPSC has received 61 reports of the sprayer hose separating from the sprayer wand during use, including four reports of minor injuries. The CPSC recommends that buyers immediately stop using these vacuums and contact Positec USA with instructions to have the sprayer wand replaced free of charge.
