It is learned that according to a survey of users by Beautyque, a US retail marketing platform, beauty shoppers are enthusiastic about augmented and virtual reality (AR and VR) technologies and show strong demand. According to the survey, 80.3% of beauty shoppers have used virtual makeup try-on apps, mainly to try lipstick (74.5%) and hair color (71.6%). Beautyque noted that hair care was a key area of focus for beauty shoppers, with 36.5% of respondents making purchases, followed by skin care (30.3%) and body care (just below 30.3%). Notably, 91.3% of beauty shoppers are also keen on video gaming equipment, and also like to buy the following items:
