Walmart was exposed for selling counterfeit goods! The finger is pointed at Chinese sellers!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, a YouTube user recently strongly criticized the problem of selling counterfeit goods on the Walmart website in a 12-minute video, and named the video "Huge Pokemon Card Scam Exposed."

The video shows that YouTube user Deep Pocket Monster purchased a box of Pokémon cards, XY Evolutions Booster box, from Walmart, but after receiving the goods, he found that some of the cards were fake.

In addition, Deep Pocket Monster also pointed out in the video that Pokémon card collector JediMasterSquirtle also discovered the problem of counterfeit sales at Walmart. One of his relatives bought the XY Evolutions Booster box Pokémon card combination at Walmart for $169, but found that the name of a trading card in the box was wrong, and "Charizard" was printed as "Caterpie".

The buyer then immediately contacted the retailer and verified that the Evolutions Booster Box was sold through Walmart's third-party account JoyBuy, a Chinese seller who also operates an online business on JD.com in China.

The report said Deep Pocket Monster has sent evidence to Walmart in an attempt to get the product removed from its shelves, but the retailer has yet to respond. As of now, the fake XY Evolutions Booster kits are still being sold on Walmart.

It is understood that for collectors, it is "infuriating" to spend a lot of money to buy fakes. Therefore, Deep Pocket Monster strongly accused Walmart and retailer JoyBuy on YouTube.
