Brand manufacturers obtain virtual shelf space on retail e-commerce websites through sponsored product advertising, while retail e-commerce can monetize traffic through pay-per-click native advertising and then earn revenue.

Mergers and Acquisitions

On October 10, 2016, HookLogic was acquired by Criteo for US$250 million.

In December 2017, Koddi, a Texas-based travel metasearch automated bidding platform, acquired HookLogic, a travel performance advertising business under French digital advertising listed company Criteo.

Financing

In 2011, it completed a Series A financing of US$9.5 million, invested by Bain Capital.

In 2013, it completed its Series B financing and received US$14 million, with Intel participating in the investment.

In November 2015, HookLogic recently raised $15.5 million in Series C funding to expand its advertising network and promote technology development. This Series C funding was supported by new investment partners Fung Capital and Mousse Partners, as well as participation from existing sponsors Bain Capital and Intel Capital.
