Domestic bicycle helmets recalled by CPSC! Available on Amazon!

According to foreign media reports, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of Ninebot children's bicycle helmets on March 24. The reason for the recall is that the product does not meet the federal safety standards - position stability and retention system requirements. In the event of a collision, the helmet may not protect the head well, causing the risk of head injury.

The recalled helmets are reportedly available in orange and white, and in extra small (XS) sizes, suitable for head circumferences of 19.5 inches to 21.5 inches. The words "Ninebot" are printed on both sides of the helmet, with an "NB-410" model label on the inside. It is learned that the helmets recalled by the CPSC were manufactured in China and imported into the United States by retailer Segway Inc. These helmets were sold on Segway.com and Amazon.com from December 2020 to May 2021, with a price range of US$30-50, and approximately 960 units were sold.

It is reported that the CPSC has not received any reports of accidents involving the use of this product, but the CPSC still recommends that buyers stop using it immediately. In addition, the remedy for this product is that consumers need to return the product to Segway Inc., prepay the shipping fee, to obtain a full refund. At the same time, Segway is actively contacting all buyers to provide information such as mailing addresses.
