There is a risk of falling! Domestic electric balance scooters are urgently recalled!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, on May 19, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and home appliance and electronics wholesaler DGL Group jointly recalled the Hover-1 Superfly electric balance car sold on Bestbuy.com.

The reason for this recall is that the balance scooter may malfunction during use. Without active control, the electrical system will still provide power, allowing the balance scooter to continue moving, causing the user to fall or be injured.

The recall reportedly involves the 2020 Hover-1 Superfly Hoverboards with the H1-SPFY model number. The product is black in color, has a blue LED light on the bottom of the balance car, and the word "Hover-1" is printed on the front.

It is understood that these balance bikes were produced in China and sold in Bestbuy offline stores and websites from October 2020 to October 2021. The price was about US$200, and about 93,000 units were sold.

DGL Group has received 29 reports of scooter failures, including 4 reports of minor injuries. DGL is contacting all buyers to ship the faulty products back to its authorized repair shops.
