Jassy once again calls on employees who are "rebellious" against remote work to return to the office

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy has warned his remote employees to come to the office at least three days a week, according to Insider. Jassy criticized employees who did not comply with the new work policy, which requires employees to work in the office at least three days a week, in an internal meeting, Insider reported.

“This is not the time to disagree and commit,” the CEO said. “If you can’t disagree and commit ... you probably won’t be here at Amazon because we’re going to be back in the office at least three days a week.”

Jassy notified employees in February that these remote employees would be required to return to the office for three days starting May 1. Under previous regulations, each team could choose whether its employees came to the office.

“When teams meet more often, they tend to connect better with each other,” the CEO wrote on the company’s corporate blog.

However, back in May, nearly 30,000 Amazon employees signed a petition opposing the controversial policy.
