It is estimated that many friends and small sellers have never used gift cards, and don’t even know what gift cards are for. We can only say that they are too young and too native, because gift cards are currently one of the magic weapons for big sellers to get reviews.


First of all, Amazon officially prohibits this practice, but as long as the buyer does not say anything, Amazon will not open the package for inspection.


The content of the card is mainly about after-sales service. It is okay to be a little more subtle.


The key is how you play it. Anyway, all the big sellers are playing it, and they are playing it very well.


After doing some statistics, I found that one of my best-selling listings had more than 9,000 reviews, 3,000 of which were from gift cards.


Compared to black hat techniques such as fake orders, if you are good at using gift cards, you are a white hat, but if you are not good at it, you are a black hat.

1. How to learn from the best-selling gift cards?


If you have bought products from big sellers like Anker and Aukey, you will find that they all use gift cards. I have bought them myself, not from domestic sources, but from Amazon.


But it is difficult to buy things from Amazon in China. If you want to borrow its gift card, how do you buy it?


Teach you a method:


You can try asking your Chinese friends, or foreign friends you have accumulated through regular reviews, to help you buy a product, unpack it, take a photo of the gift card and send it to you, and then you can see what the content of the gift card is.



Extension: When you use KEEPA to find a product with rapidly growing reviews, remember to buy the product as soon as possible to see what’s going on. This is the most basic attempt in operation.


At this point, I want to say one thing. Big sellers are all using gift cards. Are you afraid?


2. What is the safest way to make gift cards?


Be careful with the wording you use. Never ask the seller to give five stars. Instead, add this sentence on the gift card: Just give honest feedback.

Normally, the buyer will not leave a bad review after hearing this, and the buyer is getting a good deal, so the probability of leaving a good review is very high.

I post discounts of more than 50% on Facebook and then wait for buyers to come and ask for gifts. I am not the only one who does this, many big sellers also do this.


Because the customers you are placing orders with in large quantities, most of whom are those who are looking for a bargain, then isn’t the probability of them asking for gifts greatly increased?


I have made a product before, which used gift cards in conjunction with off-site traffic generation. I found that the probability of buyers coming to me for gifts was about 15%. You know, the frequency of natural reviews is one review for every 200-300 orders.

What is the official gift card website and why should I use it?


Because the product is small, it can't be stuffed with a large gift card, so it is convenient to embed it into an official website and let customers choose it on the official website. (If you cooperate with Amazon Alliance, your cost will be much lower)


Think about it, what is the difference between the cost of this approach and that of real-person evaluation?


1. In terms of cost, if the product is $20-30, then a product worth $10-20 is the best choice for customers as a gift.


Let's do some calculations.


Evaluation cost: product cost + Amazon commission and delivery fee + first-leg freight + refund handling fee + service provider commission = at least 200-300 yuan


The cost of sending a gift card for evaluation: $15 gift - your product profit (25*30%) = $7.5


2. Which of these two options is more risky?


The answer is of course the evaluation. What determines whether your brother-in-law will leave a comment on you is mainly the buyer’s account. By comparing them, you will know which buyer’s account has better quality.



4. How are gifts shipped?


1. Self-delivery

Send postal parcels or E-mail from China


2. FBA delivery

Place orders directly to buyers on Amazon


Self-delivery and FBA delivery each have their own advantages and disadvantages, so think about it yourself.


Steps:


1. The buyer leaves a comment and contacts us via email to tell us what gift they want.

3. We open the Amazon front desk and find this product



4. Log in with your buyer ID (do not use the seller buyer ID on Amazon) and bind a dual-currency credit card



In this way, the product can be shipped to the buyer, and all the processes of writing a review are completed.


Someone asked, is it possible to allow buyers to buy products from your own store as gifts?


The answer is no, because they are promoting your own products, leaving reviews, and purchasing your products. Isn't this abnormal?
