When we created Amazon ads, we added two new labels when adding the products we wanted to promote in this advertising campaign, namely preferred advertising products and a green label .

  • Preferred advertising products

Amazon uses a machine learning model to determine which products will receive a higher click-through rate after being promoted. This predictive model is created based on product information that customers can view, such as product descriptions, images, and customer reviews.

Note: Suggested products are 46 times more likely to generate sales attributed to the ad when promoted than non-suggested products.

  • Green label, the current green label content of the product is:

1. Build brand image

Identified products that drive brand engagement. Customers who engage with that specific product are likely to engage with the brand further, including browsing or purchasing additional products from the brand, visiting the brand’s Store, or searching for the brand.

2. New Products

Products that have been available for less than 90 days are most likely to attract customers if you promote them.

3. Trends

Products in categories that are currently experiencing a growth phase in detail page views. Amazon identified periods in each category when detail page views were above the average for the past 24 weeks.

4. Forecasted Demand

Products in categories that have historically seen an increase in detail page views over the next 4 weeks. Amazon identified periods of time when detail page views for each category are expected to increase based on 3 years of historical page view data.

5. Benchmarking

Products with lower sales or conversion rates (CVR) than similar products. For product sales, Amazon looks at two 4-week periods of changes in metrics and compares them to the average change for similar products in the same category.

For new product links, the goods have not yet been put into storage and put on the shelves, but pre-sales have already started without our knowledge, and the pre-sale delivery time will be displayed on the front desk.

If the pre-sale period is too long, the traffic that clicks in during this period may have low conversion or zero conversion, which will seriously affect the listing conversion rate and even miss the promotion period for new products!
