After some investigation, I found that some people did get the normal verification code through some means, but there was no effective method that everyone could use. One person used method A to get the verification code, but another person used the same method and still got garbled code. Now I list all the methods that I have collected so far that may be effective. You can try them one by one. If this method doesn’t work, the next one may work. 1. Use other verification methods other than SMS. In addition to text messages, Amazon also provides voice verification codes when logging in. Although it is in English, the few numbers sound not difficult. Amazon also has an authenticator app that can also accept verification codes. Note that the accuracy of the authenticator is very low and you may need to try several times before it succeeds. 2. Reset your store login password. Click "Forgot Password" on the login interface to enter the reset step. You can receive a verification code via mobile phone or email to reset. After the reset is completed, you can log in normally and receive the verification code. 3. The login page is switched to Chinese A seller in our group reported that they received a normal verification code after switching the page to Chinese. However, there is no option to directly switch languages on the English login page. You can log in first (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/), enter the investment page below, and then the website will automatically switch to Chinese according to your IP address. Then click the login button in the upper right corner. 4. Restart or change browser/mobile phone/computer Some people have successfully restarted their phones or inserted the SIM card into other phones to receive the verification code SMS, but few sellers have succeeded with this method. If simply restarting or changing the browser/phone doesn't work, you can try other methods. 5. Amazon Seller App After logging in to the backend with the official APP, log in with the computer. Some sellers can directly enter the backend page without two-step verification. If the APP login is abnormal, just uninstall the program and reinstall it. 6. Contact customer service The best way is to ask customer service to help you solve the problem. In the small print at the bottom of the login page, there is a "Help" button that allows you to contact Amazon customer service without logging into your account. Judging from the randomness of this incident, it can be basically confirmed that there is a bug in the background, and Amazon has not fixed it until now. Sellers who encounter two-step verification errors should follow the above methods to save themselves as soon as possible and do not affect their daily operations. If the store suffers losses due to failure to log in, it will be a huge loss! |
